The Indian Maritime University Chennai (IMU Chennai) has recently issued the Admissions Notification
for Common Entrance Test for the academic year 2013-2014. MU admits students based on All India Common Entrance Tests (CETs) which are conducted in the months of April/May every year.This IMU CET 2013 Common Entrance Test Notification is published at Indian Maritime University Chennai's official website @ www.imu.edu.in . The Indian Maritime University Chennai (IMU Chennai) conducting Chennai Common Entrance Test (IMUCET 2013) for Admissions onto it's campus colleges and various IMU campuses &; IMU Schools namely . National Maritime Academy Chennai, T S Chanakya Mumbai, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research Mumbai, Marine Engineering Research Institute Mumbai, Marine Engineering Research Institute Kolkata, Indian Institute of Port Management Kolkata and National Ship Design and Research Centre Visakhapatnam. and IMU has six established campuses viz Chennai, Cochin, Kandla Port, Kolkata, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam and 38 maritime institutions affiliated to it Online applications are inviting from eligible and interested candidates. II) B.Tech :- i) Merign Engineering ii) Navel Architectural Ocean Engineering

Post Graduate Courses.

III) M.Tech :- i) Navel Architecture and Ocean Engineering , Deterring and Herber Engineering
IV) M.B.A :- i) Port and Shipping , Logistic , Infrastructural
V) L.L.M :- Maritime law

Eligibility criteria / Qualifying Exam (QE) :- 

• For Under Graduate (UG) courses required qualification is 10+2 / Intermediate/ 3 yrs Diploma or it's equivalent from recognised Board/ Institution (CBSE/ICSE)
• For Post Graduate Courses read at official notification.

Application Fee:- Rs 1000/- (For SC/ST Rs. 700/-) through prescribed challan form which is available at IMU 's Website Academic Brochure 2013 @ www.imu.edu.in

Selection Process:-  Selection is totally based on the CET Score. Top rank candidates will be called for Counseling. The counseling schedule will be published at intimated by the IMU to all eligible candidates

CET PATTERN:- 

• CET Syllabus for UG Programme s will be Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge and Aptitude at Plus 2 level (CBSE, ICSE and State Boards).
• CET pattern for PG programs will be uploaded in website shortly

How to apply:- The application mode is online apply mode only. Eligible and interested candidates can visit  Indian Maritime University Chennai (IMU Chennai)'s official website @ www.imu.edu.in and submit online apply cation form. Hard Copy and challan form attach it with all essential document copies (List available at Academic Brochure 2013 @ www.imu.edu.in) forward it to reach below address on or before 10.05.2013
